Agility Trials:

BARC currently hosts seven trials each year, three NADAC and four USDAA. Please see our Agility Basics page for information on the difference between the venues. Visitors are always welcome to come and watch the fun! Please go to our Trials page for more information!


BARC offers a number of indoor open practice opportunities at Birt Arena in Nampa, ID for dogs and handlers who are currently training and/or competing in agility. Please go to our Practices page for more information!


BARC donates to several local non-profit animal based charities and events regularly, including Pets for Vets Boise, Canine Companions for Independence, the Boise Police K-9 Unit, Idaho Search and Rescue, local animal shelters, and the Nampa Dog Park.

Demonstrations and Community Events:

For the past several years, BARC members and other local agility competitors perform an agility demo during the annual See Spot Walk, benefiting the Idaho Humane Society. Come see us this year, we’ll be there!


Approximately every two years, BARC hosts occasional seminars to benefit our members and the dog sport community.

In 2015, BARC hosted a canine fitness seminar with Bobbie Lyons of Pawsitive Performance in Portland, OR.

In 2013, BARC hosted an agility handling seminar with multiple time World Team Member and National Champion Barb Davis.
